I'm Traci Wylly from Akron, Ohio, where I live with my husband and our two dogs, Boo a 4 year old Golden Retriever and Scout, a four year old German Short Hair Pointer. We have three adult children and two grandchildren, all of whom have dogs, likely influenced by growing up around pets.

I have been in the financial services industry for over 25 years; I currently work remotely for Park National Bank in Risk and Controls.

I am a firm believer that pets hold a significant place in our lives, serving as both companions and contributing positively to our well-being. That is why, when you travel, it is essential that your pets receive the same high standard of care you provide for them. I have been in your shoes, and that is why my commitment is to ensure that your pets are looked after with diligence and respect, offering peace of mind while you are away.

How does in-home pet service work?

Pets need human interaction on a daily basis for their well being and that is why I stay at your home while you’re away, keeping your pets’ company.

We start with a meet and greet where we all get to know each other, then we cover the following details:

• We spend time discussing your pet’s routine, nutritional needs and the things you do for them that they have come to expect such as routine walks, play time etc.

• We discuss important information like vet contact details and your emergency contacts such as friends or family. 

• You show me around, and we cover house logistics such as keys, garage door and or security codes, internet passwords, and those quirky things that you need to know when staying in another person's home. 

• We discuss your travel plans to ensure your pets have care from the moment you leave until the moment you return.

• We discuss any addtional services you may need such as a ride to a from the airport, indoor/outdoor plant watering, snow shoveling, mail/package pickup, pet vet or grooming visits.

How much does  in-home pet service cost?

In-home pet service cost will vary based on number of pets, your location from the Akron area, and addtional services you choose. ​

• The first pet is $50 per day, each addtional pet is $20 per day.

• If you home is within  a 50 mile radius of Akron, there is no travel charge.  Outside of the that radius, it is the cost of gas or airfare for a round trip.  For example, a round trip to Columbus is typically $50 additional charge.

• Addtional services are $10

Does the Refridgerator need to be Stocked?

No, you do not need to provide any food.  I will be responsible for my own food while I am in your home.

What should you expect?

You should expect the same level of love and care you provide your pet on a daily basis.  To help  ease your mind I provide you with daily communication on how your pet is doing. Expect daily pictures!
